Fuel Saver that Works, Earns Patent Approval

25 Aug

US Patent Office Gives Approval for Innovative Gas Saving Device

As of August 4th 2011, Mile Edge Plus is proud to announce that the patent on their revolutionary product, The Edge, has been approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The Edge fuel saver is a precision product that is installed to the intake of a car or truck in order to dramatically improve the airflow to the vehicle’s engine. The product is made to be a green option for drivers by helping them get more gas for their buck and to help reduce their vehicle’s emissions. Mile Edge Plus encourages individuals to try The Edge not only to save money, but to lower the driver’s carbon footprint as well.

After years in development and product testing, The Edge has finally received the government patent approval it has been waiting for, and the crew at Mile Edge Plus couldn’t be happier. Lynn Richard, the Sr. Vice President of Mile Edge Plus Inc. stated, “We at Mile Edge Plus are very pleased to be awarded this patent, but not surprised. Our hope is that people will understand that the reason we were awarded this patent is because we are different from anything else on the market!”

“The patent itself establishes, The Edge as a truly unique product and unlike any other device.” Richard adds, “Our product is not involved with gimmicks such as “swirling the air”, duct tape, or magnets! Our unique design, simply stated, allows us to “smooth” & introduce substantially more oxygen into the throttle body or air intake tube, which increases torque & mpg, while decreasing harmful emissions.”

The Edge, uses Venturi technology to increase airflow to the vehicle’s engine, coupled with its exclusive forward curvature causing a vacuum, which reduces air restriction. This increase in airflow is made to result in dramatically better fuel mileage, throttle response, and overall vehicle performance. The crew at Mile Edge Plus has confirmed that vehicles using The Edge will gain an average of 5 to 15% more miles per gallon, and can be substantiated by Dyno test results made available from two well known testing services.

Mile Edge Plus has full faith in their product, guaranteeing that The Edge will last a lifetime without defect. Mile Edge Plus also has a 60 day money back guarantee in case customers are not completely satisfied with the product. The company offers a lifetime warranty on The Edge, stating that it will never warp, wear out, or need replacement.

High Fuel Prices for Summer 2011

13 Apr

Gasoline Prices across the United States are predicted to increase this summer . Fuel prices have not gone under $3 since December and are likely to go up in the summer months.Oil prices hit a 30-month high on April 11th, 2011 at $113.36, but have pulled back to $106.22 after Goldman Sachs fingered speculators on recent price increases. Down the road, the Energy Information Administration expects oil markets to continue to tighten over the next two years, given expected growth in oil demand across the globe and slow growth in supply from non-OPEC countries.

“Projected West Texas Intermediate prices will average $106 in 2011 and $114 per barrel in 2012, increases of $5 per barrel and $9 per barrel respectively, predicts the EIA. WTI crude oil spot prices averaged $89 per barrel in February, $106 per barrel in March, reaching $111 on April 11.” ~ truckinginfo.com

In the long term, the Energy Information Administration expects oil markets to continue to tighten over the next two years, given expected robust growth in world oil demand and slow growth in supply from non-OPEC countries.

Crude oil prices are rising and is shown in higher petroleum product prices. The average fuel price of diesel was an average of $2.98 per gallon last summer and are projected to average $4.09 this summer. Regular gasoline is expected to average $3.86 per gallon, according to EIA.

Average Gasoline Price Over $3 A Gallon in latest U.S. survey

14 Feb

Gasoline Prices across the United States increased to an average of $3.13 a gallon in only a few weeks in the government’s latest survey. The average fuel price has not been below $3 since December the Energy Information Agency reports.

The situation in Egypt, which controls the Suez Canal, certainly has not helped improve the fuel prices. As well as their building economy promotes higher petroleum use.

Car manufacturing companies think that these high gasoline prices will help boost sales of their latest fuel-efficient vehicles that they are receiving pressure from the government to build. However not everyone has the money to buy a new car in order to save on gas.

Some simple ways you can increase fuel mileage is by slowing down to 60 mph or below. Going over will drastically decrease fuel efficiency. Also checking your tires to make sure that they are properly inflated will also help improve the amount of miles per gallon. If you want that extra boost in fuel mileage you can get a fuel saving device like the Edge.

The Edge give you a 5% to 15% increase in miles per gallon depending on your driving tendencies and other factors. For the low price of $49.95 for commercial cars and trucks you can get this gas saving product that will save you hundreds per year. 8 Fuel Saving Tips for your Vehicle

10 Dec

There are many ways you can fight the rising prices at the gas pump these days. Where you have to start is at the gas pump. You should only buy only the octane level gas need and recommended for your car vehicle. All gas stations have to post the octane rating of the gas under the FTC’s Fuel Rating Rule. The majority of gas stations already do this but always remember, the higher the octane, the higher the price. Be sure to check your owner’s manual to determine the right octane level for your car.

Here are some additional tips that will help you get better gas mileage.

  1. Your Speed. I know it is difficult to do but it is costing you money the harder you push down that accelerator. The truth is the faster you drive, the more fuel you use. For example, driving at 65 miles per hour (mph), rather than 55 mph, increases fuel consumption by 20 percent. Driving at 75 mph, rather than 65 mph, increases fuel consumption by another 25 percent.
  2.

  3. Overdrive Gears. Using these gears, the car’s engine speed drops, reducing wear and saving fuel. Overdrive is included in both automatic and manual transmissions as an extra gear because of the benefit they have for fuel economy. Overdrive gears improve the fuel economy of your car during highway driving.  Today, all gas and diesel cars and trucks come with an overdrive transmission.
  4.

  5. Cruise Control. Every time you push the accelerator you burn gas. Using cruise control, usually on long highway trips, can help you maintain a constant speed and, in most cases, reduce your fuel consumption.
  6.

  7. Driving Situations. If you know where the traffic is, try to avoid it. Skipping the  unnecessary braking and acceleration will improve your fuel economy by 5 to 10 percent. In city driving, nearly 50 percent of the energy needed to power your car goes to acceleration. Go easy on the gas pedal and brakes. Sudden starts and stops are wasteful.
  8.

  9. Avoid Idling. If you are waiting for a friend or a long traffic delay, it is best to turn your engine off rather than let your engine run and burn costly fuel. Turn off the engine if you anticipate a lengthy wait. Unnecessary idling wastes fuel, costs you money and pollutes the air.
  10.

  11. Combine errands. Several short trips taken from a cold start can use twice as much fuel as one trip covering the same distance when the engine is warm.
  12.

  13. Remove Excess Weight. Avoid carrying unneeded items in your trunk or seats, especially heavy ones. An extra 100 pounds in the trunk reduces a typical car’s fuel economy by one to two percent.
  14.

  15. Get the Edge The Edge can be installed in practically every truck or cars engine. With the Edge fuel saving product installed you can get an additional 5% – 15% increase in gas mileage and increase your torque. Combining the practices above with the edge can save you hundreds of dollars a year on gas giving you the power to spend that money on your family or to treat yourself.
