Ford F150 Test Shows Performance Increase with the Edge

Ford F150 Test ResultsThe Results are in!!! Recently we tested a 2009 Ford F-150′s performance with and without the Edge fuel saving device  using a dynonometer.  A dynonometer is a device that is hooked up to the vehicles engine that shows mpg & torque.  The graph on the right shows the dyno results with & without “The Edge”.  Click the image on the right to see a larger image.

As you can see the Ford F-150 fuel saver showed an increase in torque and miles per gallon with the Edge installed.

Without the Edge: Miles Per Gallon = 19.4mpg | Maximum Torque Output = 256.17.

With the Edge Installed:  Miles Per Gallon = 21.3mpg | Maximum Torque Output = 274.88.

The Ford F-150 had a 9% increase in miles per gallon and a 7% increase in Torque

DynoJet Tested MPG and Torque Output

DynoJet Research of Las Vegas performed the test at their facilities in Las Vegas, NV. Then the truck went 55 mph in cruise control for 20 minutes. The same test was done without the Edge installed and with the Edge installed.  As you can see by the chart it came back with excellent results with an increase in torque and an improvement of mpg.
