The 2009 Toyota Tundra recently was tested with and without the Edge fuel saving device using a dynonometer. The dynonometer is a device that is hooked up to the vehicles engine that shows mpg & torque. The following chart shows the dyno results with & without “The Edge” Installed into the truck. Toyota Tundra Performance Results
As you can see the Toyota Tundra showed an increase in torque and miles per gallon with the Edge installed.
Without the Edge: Miles Per Gallon = 22.9 mpg | Maximum Torque Output = 268.12.
With the Edge Installed: Miles Per Gallon = 24.5mpg | Maximum Torque Output = 282.36.
The Toyota Tundra had a 7% increase in miles per gallon and a 5% increase in Torque.
